Prayers and Decrees for the Mid-Term Elections
40 Days from Feast of Tabernacles to Election Day
September 25 - November 3, 2026
The Spirit of God has summoned the People of God to come together in the unity of the Spirit and the bond of peace to pray and decree God’s Kingdom rule over our cities, state, and nation during this 2026 Mid-Term Election season. The focus the Lord has released centers on the people of God aligning with the Word, Will, and Ways of the Lord rather than on political candidates. Elections audit the state of the Church in a region. Are we aligning with the Lord? Are we making decisions and voting in accordance with the principles and culture of the Kingdom of God?
Allow these daily decrees, based on Scripture, to work in you, bringing you to unshakable faith and guiding you in the ways you are to pray, declare, and decree in alignment with the ways of the Lord God Almighty.
Each week will have a covenant name of the Lord overarching the daily Scriptures and decrees. These are intended as a launching place for your personal and corporate times of worship and intercession. We will release the daily focus each Thursday, so you have what you need to begin on Friday.

As preparation for today's prayer points and decrees, I want to share a brief vision I had while in DC earlier this week. I saw a beautiful tapestry being woven by the Lord; however, in the midst of the weaving, I saw strands that did not belong woven into the design, defiling the beauty God originally intended. As I looked, I prayed, repenting for how we have been ignorant in so many ways, tolerating what God does not, even embracing as acceptable what, according to the Word of God, is totally unacceptable. We have done this throughout our nation's history, even proclaiming it under the Church's banner. God have mercy! As repentance came forth, I saw the Consuming Fire of God begin to burn the defiling strands woven into the tapestry. Only the defiled strands were consumed, and what was according to His plan and purpose remained, revealing a greater manifestation of the beauty the Lord intended from the beginning.
- Listen for how the Lord would have you to pray and stand in the gap for the ways that are contrary to His sovereign ownership over all the earth.
- Decree that (your city, state, nation) is the Lord’s in all its fullness and is set apart and sanctified for His glory and honor.
- Decree that (your city, state, and nation) begins to acknowledge, honor, and align with the Lord’s sovereign right as Creator to rule and reign over all the earth.
Day 2: Psalm 24:3-6
- Repent personally and on behalf of those in your sphere for where we have fallen short of the conditions listed in Psalm 24 for approaching His holy throne.
- Pray and decree that, by the mercies of God, a Holy Remnant is arising in (name your city, state, nation) who, according to Psalm 24, may stand in the holy presence of God with clean hands and a pure heart, not lifting our soul to falsehood or swearing deceitfully.
- Decree that a holy people are arising by the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ to stand in the holy presence of the Lord.
Day 3: Psalm 24:7-10
- Look over your (city, state, nation) and acknowledge before the Lord the gates and doors that have been closed to the King of Glory coming in to rule in strength and might according to His word, will, and ways.
- Decree in faith over the gateways of (your city, state, nation) to be opened wide for the King of Glory to come in to rule and reign, bringing forth His righteousness and justice in every area of society for His Glory and honor.
- Boldly decree: “Lift up your heads, O gates, an be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of Glory may come in. Who is the King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O gates, and lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of Glory may come in! Who is this King of Glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of Glory.”
Day 4: Matthew 16:18-19
- Thank the Lord for calling us to be His children, building us up together as His Ekklesia, and giving us the privilege of representing Him on earth.

- Decree that the Ekklesia of God is rising across (your city, state, nation), breaking out of the shackles of religiosity, apathy, compromise, deception, division, and every hindrance, to stand firm against Satan’s devices and see God’s Kingdom purposes manifested on earth as they are in heaven.

Only the defiled strands were consumed, and what was according to His plan and purpose remained, revealing a greater manifestation of the beauty the Lord intended from the beginning.
- Ask the Holy Spirit to show you what has been defiled through the generations in your own bloodline as well as on behalf of your (city, state, nation). Confess as sin and pray in repentance according to all that Holy Spirit reveals.
